I make sense of the world through sound, color, and image.
I’ve always wanted to create worlds. I experience emotions and different eras through color and musical tones, and I often make sense of my experiences through sound. I understand frustration, love, and relationships through the piano. I write compositions based on moments in my life that I can’t verbalize, and I compare people to different scales and chords to understand how they made me feel through sound. Music has become a way for me to process both my everyday interactions and the ideas I struggle to articulate. Because of this, it has always been important to me that my art exists across multiple mediums. I’m drawn to Gesamtkunstwerk, Richard Wagner’s concept of “total art,” in which different artistic forms come together to create a single experience. I see sound, music, image, color, and narrative as interconnected rather than separate elements. Each can change the way the others are experienced. I’m interested in composing for film, video games, and other visual media, where sound can expand a world, shape emotion, and communicate what isn't being said. My perspective as a half-Vietnamese LGBTQ woman naturally informs my work, and I want to support projects and people with similar creative perspectives.
I specialize in Wwise implementation, nonlinear systems, and designing sound that supports performance, space, and player psychology.
